Infrared Sauna Routine

I use my portable infrared sauna (CODE: BEWELLBYBELLA20) every single day and it’s been such an integral part of my healing journey. Infrared saunas are incredible for detoxification, cellular repair, wound repair, increased circulation, muscle & joint pain relief, boosted metabolism, boosted mood, and so on.

Here’s a little breakdown of how I prep for a sauna session and how I replenish my body afterwards.

Before a sauna, I drink 40 oz of water + 1/2 the juice of a lemon or lime + a pinch of Celtic sea salt. I use my favorite dry brush and brush up my entire body to stimulate lymphatic flow and get my blood circulating. Dry brushing before a sauna session helps your circulatory system to further open your detox pathways - this enhances detoxification and helps your body sweat more and faster. I take Cymbiotika liposomal glutathione & NAC to promote detoxification & Body Bio TUDCA for liver support. I do anywhere from 45-60 minutes in the sauna. While I’m in the sauna, I do a Joe Dispenza morning or evening meditation, some journaling & dive into whatever book I’m currently reading.

Afterwards, I shower immediately to rinse off the toxins I sweat out, and post shower, I use my De La Heart body oil and lymphatic drainage paddle to continue to stimulate lymphatic drainage. I always replenish my body with electrolytes after my shower - I fill a huge water bottle with water and my favorite clean electrolytes, LMNT, or I drink organic coconut water or more lemon/lime + salt water. It’s so important to hydrate the body on a cellular level after sweating to ensure you’re replenishing lost electrolytes.

This is my daily sauna routine & it’s truly such a cherished part of my day! x
